Call for specific expertise

Call status: open

To reinforce all needed expertise areas for the ECIBC activities, the Joint Research Centre is looking for radiation oncologists and pathologists to become members of the Guidelines Development Group (GDG) and the Quality Assurance Scheme Development Group (QASDG).

We expect to appoint three new members: one with expertise in radiation oncology to the QASDG and a new member with expertise in pathology to each of the groups. Applicants who are not appointed may be included in the ECIBC expert pool. The JRC will seek the applicants' consent before adding their names to the expert pool.

Call for chair and vice-chair

Call status: open

Considering the planned transition for ECIBC toward the new methodological framework for integrated development of guidelines and quality assurance scheme, the European Commission intends to reshape the board of chairs of the Guidelines Development Group (GDG). We expect to appoint one chair and one vice-chair equipped with the specific methodological expertise needed to support the adoption and application of the new model.

The selection process comprises of two steps: eligibility assessment and selection. You can apply using the online application form. Please read carefully the call document before applying.

ECIBC expert pool

Call status: open

The expert pool will serve to:

  • nominate additional working group members or replace a member in case of need.
  • invite experts to future subgroup activities.
  • work temporarily as external experts on specific topics.

All clinical, scientific and technical experts in areas related to the initiative (see the expertise required), as well as for patients and/or caregivers, are invited to apply using the online application form. Please read carefully the call document   before applying.
