The coronavirus outbreak and management of breast cancer patients

The impact of the ongoing coronavirus outbreak on cancer patients' care is important. The Joint Research Centre carried out a rapid review of recommendations addressing the management of breast cancer patients to mitigate the effects of the coronavirus outbreak for the screening, diagnosis and care of cancer patients. The selected recommendations have been included in our repository of "International guidelines on breast cancer care". The update was done using the ECIBC methodology, but the eligibility criteria were modified to include guidelines developed following a rapid process.
