The JRC and working group members have been invited to present the European Commission Initiative on Breast Cancer at the informative webinar organised by EA dedicated to the European quality assurance (QA) scheme for breast cancer services.
The webinar, attended by 45 National Accreditation Bodies belonging to EA's network of members, included presentations on the rationale and objectives of the Commission initiative and on all aspects related to the accredited certification process; as well as on the upcoming pilot run of the QA scheme and its future implementation in Europe.
EA is collaborating with the JRC on the pilot run of the QA scheme, which is close to be kicked-off following the results of the feasibility exercise (testing of the clinical requirements).
