Participation to the Senologic International Society World Congress on Breast Cancer and Breast Healthcare

The 21st edition of the Senologic International Society World Congress on Breast Cancer and Breast Healthcare will take place in Rhodes Island from 3 to 6 May 2023. The event is focused on navigating the complex world of today’s most effective initiatives and best practices across the full spectrum of Breast Cancer and Breast Healthcare. The JRC will participate to this event with a presentation on Thursday, 4 May which will offer an overview of the current main Cancer Initiatives in the European Commission (Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan and the Mission on Cancer). The presentation will be given by Ciaran Nicholl and the focus will be on the Knowledge Centre on Cancer, a flagship action of the Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan and its pillars which include: European Commission Initiative on Breast Cancer, European Cancer Information System, European Cancer Inequalities Registry, Health Promotion and Cancer Prevention, and EU Rare Disease Platform.
