European guidelines on colorectal cancer prevention and screening

During the 3 November 2022 meeting, the European Commission Initiative on Colorectal Cancer (ECICC) working group discussed the list of questions on colorectal cancer primary prevention and screening that should be included in the European colorectal cancer guidelines.

During the prioritisation process, the working group reached an agreement on a set of questions deemed at high priority, but expressed uncertainty on others, which were classified as important but not of high priority.

The JRC has launched a call for feedback from stakeholders to support the working group in making a final decision on the healthcare questions for which, after the initial prioritisation exercise, there was still uncertainty. The comments collected through this open consultation will be analysed for potential consideration when defining the final list of healthcare questions to be addressed in the European guidelines.
