Proposed healthcare questions to be addressed in the European colorectal cancer guidelines

On 4 November 2022, the ECICC’s working group met at the European Commission’s JRC site in Ispra (Italy), to discuss the healthcare questions on colorectal cancer prevention and screening of the population at average-risk of developing colorectal cancer that should be addressed in the European colorectal cancer guidelines.

Following the prioritisation exercise, the working group members reached agreement on the set of healthcare questions, which will result in the formulation of recommendations, deemed as high priority and likely to be included in the European colorectal cancer guidelines, available below, but expressed uncertainty on others classified as important but not of high priority.

Therefore, the JRC has launched an open call to the public for feedback on the proposed list of healthcare questions for which there is uncertainty on whether they should be included in the guidelines.
